First Batch of the World’s First totally Free Medical College beats all records in the 1st MBBS exams!

We are delighted to share that our medical college has posted a 100% pass rate in its first set of exams! The first batch of MBBS students at our college, which is the FIRST private medical college to provide TOTALLY FREE medical education to all students, has broken records by achieving a 100% pass rate, 100% students achieving First Class, and 78% students getting Distinction. In India, the pass rate was 63% for private medical colleges and 78% for government medical colleges, according to a study done in 2020 on 14 medical colleges’ results.
Our medical college provides education free of cost. A majority of our first batch of 50 students come from families with monthly incomes less than US$ 300.
Some stories behind these numbers....

  • The two external examiners evaluating the university exams said that the students had such sound knowledge, that they found it difficult to deduct marks.
  • The external examiners further remarked that they had never come across such cultured, well behaved, humble students in any other Medical College.
  • As is the current trend everywhere, ‘Nari-Shakti’ topped the class. The topper was Ms Rifa M, scoring 88%. Rifa shared that during Ramzan, the wardens and others made sure she got her food before sunrise; they would in fact, get up even before she did. Their love and sacrifice motivated her, and enabled her to fast during Ramzan and focus on her studies.
